2nd quarter reflection

We had so much things do and we did it all! We had historical fiction mine was on Elijah of Buxton about the first free born baby and he is known as fragile until he did something that changed his life. Persuisive writing mine was on littering same with our persuisive animoto http://animoto.com/play/nukPYWsqUeGPEilwYcvBbA and mine loyalist and patriot animoto (just need to put in a video) I think I went deeper into the onion. But tomorrow is Pj's day what a relif.

weekly post

This week I feelt like I put in lots of effort I got lots of homework done on time and I am getting better at cursive. In math we got math partners mine is Breann, we learned about mixed numbers, and making fractions to decimals. In writing we are writing persuisive writing essay of what annoys you, mine was when the internet stops working and also we learned about thesis statements. Mr.Buxton has been making lots of speech's of the core values because lots of people has not been following it. Lastly in reading we got our reading logs I also plan on reading more to get another pizza (I already got one! :) Mr.Buxton has also been readng a book to us called freedom summer I never knew freindship is so special. Joe has a really great freind called Harry Waddle and Joe really cares for him I wonder how they became freinds? and also we where learning about who has the power lots of times the goverment had the power but at the end Joe and Harry Waddle's freindship overcame the goverment's power.

What I learned on digital citizenship

Some things in the internet have magazines and things you can play with but sometimes people can hack those and change them. Some things you should look out for is... When it says free games it may sound cool but there are lots of viruses, some forms like win 1,000,000 dollars but first fill in this sheet they can steal your personal information. Then there is fun websites but when you click on them they waste your time. Then there are some websites that are gross are gory so you should always ignore them.

my weekly blog post

This week is going okey because we had lots of prestations like the U.N day presatation and another essay less is always more for big presantations. There is our genre pizza party I don't have a pizza slice yet but like 20 pages to go till I finsh the book. In math we reviewing fractions and learing improper fractions and we are looking at what fractions are equal like 3/6 and 1/2 and we reduce fractions to the lowest fraction. Some new vocabulary words are inadequate (not acceptable),convince (persuade) and prognosticate (future).

In my book The Recruit by Robert Muchamore James, (the main character) cares for his younger sister Lauren, he is always willing to do things even though it is wrong, and he never gives up. James is a 12 year old boy who's mother died and went to this boarding school and soon went into Cherub. Cherub is a secret school that teaches you how to become a spy. The settings in this book are several places like the pool for swimming lessons, the jungle for basic trianing and his room. Some of the characters in this book are Kerry, James partner for basic trianing, Amy James swimming tudor and partner for his first mission, and Lauren James younger sister who just joined Cherub.
